What Are the Precautions & Instructions after Restorative Treatment?

Don’t eat anything for an hour.
If anesthesia was given, wait for the numbness to wear off before you eat anything. Do not bite on the lip to check if the numbness is gone.
Do not brush on the tooth for 24 hours.
Don’t worry as there might be a feeling of tightness or newness in the tooth for 2-3 days. Call us if the filling feels uncomfortable after that.
Don’t chew with this tooth if there is any discomfort. If discomfort is there more than 2 days, please contact us.
You can drink anything immediately if your mouth is not numb. If it is numb eat after 3 hours but you can drink anything immediately.
