Activate Alum by heating it in a flat pan / tawa till it melts, let it cool and scrape it off the pan when it becomes solid. Add all the ingredients in a blender/food processor and make a fine powder. Seive powder through a fine muslin cloth. Collect all the powder in a salt cellar or dispenser.
Ingredients
Alum | 5 teaspoons | It is very good for gums( astringent) |

Rock salt | 3 teaspoon | Antibacterial and fundamental dental cleansing agent. It helps to replenish the last mineral content of the teeth and help to regain the whiteness |
Vanilla | 2 drops | Flavoring agent |

How to use Tooth Powder
Sprinkle the home made toothpowder on the toothpaste before brushing twice daily.
For an organic mouthwash mix 1 tablespoon of homemade toothpowder in 10ml of water and rinse for 2 minutes.
For ulcers and boils in the mouth, mix toothpowder in mustard oil and message on the affected area with your finger using gentle circular movements.
